Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Jamil Packaging, sustainability isn't just a goal; it's a fundamental part of our core values. We source our corrugated materials from SFI and FSC-certified suppliers, recycle our corrugated paper waste, and employ best practices to minimize our environmental impact. As a responsible box manufacturer, we ensure that our custom packaging solutions are good not just for your brand but also for the environment.
Our Mission Statement
At Jamil Packaging, we lead with best practices and integrate a sustainable approach as much as we can to minimize our environmental impact. We recognize the responsibility we hold in how we operate, and that's why we actively promote resource recycling and environmentally responsible packaging.
Environmental Impact
“Organizations certified to the SFI Forest Management Standard harvest less than 1% and ensure the forest is regenerated after harvest.”
– SFI progress report 2023
Corrugated is a natural product that is recycled more than any other packaging material in the U.S
SFI-certified forests and products are powerful tools to achieve shared goals such as climate-smart forestry, fire resilience, conservation of biodiversity, reconciliation with Indigenous People, and growing a diverse and resilient workforce.
Ensuring Quality and Sustainability in Corrugated Packaging
At Jamil Packaging, we prioritize sustainability throughout our operations. We source our corrugated materials from SFI- and FSC-certified suppliers within the US. We then transform these materials into high-quality corrugated boxes, including stock boxes, custom die-cut designs, mailers, and trays. Furthermore, we utilize water-based inks for our Flexo printed and die-cut corrugated product offerings.
Our digitally printed goods and boxes minimize waste and ensure consistent quality by printing exact quantities as needed. Digital print products are printed with ink directly to your substrate with no waste, avoiding excess printing that reduces material waste during setup and production.
Corrugated scrap from our Indiana and Tennessee facilities is baled and sent to paper mills. They recycle it into new corrugated sheet goods through our suppliers, creating a sustainable Circular System. This closed-loop system exemplifies our commitment to sustainability at both our Indiana and Tennessee locations.
Jamil Packaging Corp. is also committed to satisfying our annual Supplier Assurance Audit requirements and meeting/exceeding customer food safety expectations through the Food Safety System’s improvement.
